SMS can be used for a host of applications within an event. A good use is to get anonymous feedback from your delegates.

The feedback system can be as simple or as complex as you require.Many users choose to use it for Q&A. Users text in (anonymously if required) and their question is displayed on the screens for the panel to answer. Results can be vetted before being displayed, but it is a very good way of getting questions asked that might not otherwise be. |
Data can be displayed as soon as it is collected and graphs can be made to build on the screen as people answer. Points can be awarded on the answers given and a winner chosen. Alternatively the results can be stored for future reference. Alternatively results can be kept private until every body has answered or for the whole event for analysis off site.

Feedback Via Twitter
Twitter is a powerful medium, forcing users to keep to the 140 character limit gives some concise responses. We can pull this data feed from a twitter account or from a hash tag (or both) and either display it instantly or pass it through the message approval center for human verification before being published.
Results are updated ever minute and can be displayed on any number of screens or projection surfaces.
Text Cloud
Similar to text feedback, but more visual. Users text into a number and the results are displayed on the screen. The more users that text a given answer the larger it appears

How does it work
All you require is an internet connection at the venue, we can supply dongles if the 3G signal is strong enough.
The background and layout can be changed. The way the data is displayed can be changed from text to graphs. We can also send confirmation texts or texts to congratulate users on giving the correct answer.
All data can be supplied after the event (with or without the phone numbers / twitter IDs) for further analysis or follow up on feedback.
